Screw press is designed for efficient separations of liquids from solids. The design allows for separations in three ways. The inlet area of the machine incorporates an open bottom section with a screen. Any loose liquid immediately drops through the screen into a collection pan. Most of the dewatering takes place in the center portion of the device, in a specially designed screw.

BELT PRESS FOR COCONUT MILK EXTRACTION

The grated coconut pulp is continuously and evenly spread over the bottom belt. Then the top belt is guided onto the product. This ensures that the surface pressure increases evenly, and that a stable pulp product cake is formed. In the press area, dewatering takes place via an L-profiled roller which ensures the liquid flows out quickly. Following this, the pulp is pressed out via press rollers with reducing roller diameters. The increasing pressure load extracts the milk from the pulp optimally and quickly.

Optional linear press rollers and edge zone pressure rollers increase the effectiveness of the belt press further. In this way, a juice yield in excess of 90% can be achieved in 2-stage operation. For stable continuous operation, high-pressure nozzles clean both belts continuously after the pomace has been removed.

PERFORATED DISC MILL

This mill can be used to grind the coconut in to fine paste. In the process, the perforated disc mill can be adapted to meet specific customer demands in every respect to obtain the optimum setting for the particular product. This applies to the different perforated discs and equally to the axial adjustment of the cutter blades. The system guarantees high reproducibility and scalability as well as safe operation thanks to the monitoring mechanism whose safety elements prevent incorrect operation. In addition, it is designed for CIP cleaning and sterile operation. On request it can be supplied with supplementary equipment for replacing the process tools.

COCONUT MILK SCREEN FILTER TO REMOVE FIBERS

This vibrating screen separator is separating the milk and fiber particles automatically. Long screen life is our goal. Removing fiber from coconut milk prior to packaging adds little to the cost of the product because the screen lasts nearly a year. DIRECT UHT SYSTEM WITH STEAM INFUSION

During the direct high-heating, steam is infused into the product by means of a DSI unit (DSI = direct steam infusor). In this way, the product is suddenly heated and flashed against a low pressure after a very short holding period and in this way it is cooled again just as quickly by using flash cooler. This sterilization process shows significant advantages compared to an indirect high-heating by means of heat exchangers. In case of indirect high heating the holding time at high temperatures is much longer. The short retention time and the possibility to treat high viscous products are the main advantages of this technology.

OIL EXPELLER

Our oil presses operate on a gentle mechanical press principle, which does not involve mixing and tearing of the seeds. A further advantage of this system is that virtually all oil bearing seeds, nuts and kernels can be pressed with the standard equipment without cumbersome adjustment of screws and oil outlet holes. Screw Oil Expeller is extremely easy to maintain as it has no multisectional strainer but a single press cylinder, which allows a quick change from one seed to another - which is especially important when processing small batches.

Another advantage of this system is that the press cake extrudes out of the oil press in the shape of pellets that are easy to store and handle. Oils produced under the gentle cold pressing system are only subjected to very low temperatures and are therefore top quality vegetable oils which can be used for human consumption without any conditioning depending on the raw material.

FILTER PRESS

Depending on the desired capacity, the number and size of the filter plates will vary, consequently also the filter area. Between the filter plates are the filter cloths through which to be filtered oil will pass. The filter cloths are made of textile material, which will let the fluids pass through. During the filtering process the cloths will retain any solids and thereby form a filter cake. Such solids will build up on the cloths and thereby also function as filter material. This will lead to an increase in pressure. After the pressure reaches a certain level, the filter plates need to be cleaned.

CENTRIFUGAL SEPARATORS

The fresh undiluted coconut milk (santan) is separated at ambient temperature 35 - 38�C. The oil content in the feed to the first separator stage is up to 35%. An oil recovery of 90% fat recovery which is equivalent to 32% of santan can be achieved. Moisture content of the final oil, without vacuum drying is less than 0.5%. For the same we need to use 3 centrifuges one after another with balance oil tanks
