From January 24 to 26, 2025, CMC Engineering Export GmbH proudly took part in the Jaffna International Trade Fair at the Muttraweli Grounds, marking a significant step in expanding its regional presence in Northern Sri Lanka. Focused on empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), CMC Engineering showcased a range of compact, efficient packaging machinery tailored for growing businesses. In addition, the spotlight was shared with high-precision date coding machines from Domino Printing Solutions, offering reliable coding technologies for various packaging needs. The three-day exhibition provided an ideal platform to connect with local entrepreneurs, demonstrate product capabilities through live interactions, and reinforce CMC Engineering’s commitment to supporting the SME sector with accessible and scalable packaging solutions.
New Branch – Opening Doors in Kandy
In line with our continuous growth and commitment to providing better service across the country, CMC Engineering Export GmbH proudly opened its new branch in Kandy on January 30, 2025. This strategic expansion into the central region of Sri Lanka strengthens our ability to serve clients more efficiently, particularly those in the manufacturing, food processing, and packaging industries. The Kandy branch will offer faster response times, improved technical support, and localized access to our full range of machinery solutions.
CMC Weli Party – Celebrating Avurudu Traditions with Unity and Joy
The CMC Engineering Employee Welfare Society proudly organized the CMC Weli Party to celebrate the Sinhala and Tamil New Year in true traditional spirit. Held at the scenic Dehiwala Beach during the evening, the event featured classic Avurudu games, laughter, and vibrant cultural activities.This special gathering, inspired by traditions passed down from past employees, is a cherished part of CMC’s cultural calendar. From March 23 to 25, 2025, CMC Engineering Export GmbH took part in the INCO Exhibition 2025 — a premier event focused on industrial machinery and manufacturing solutions.
The highlight of our stall was the powerful laser cutting machine range, showcased alongside a selection of CNC machines representing our tool room machinery sector.
Live demonstrations drew significant attention, offering visitors an up-close experience of the precision, speed, and reliability of our equipment.

Strenlight Gala – A Night of Celebration, Recognition of CMC Stars
The Strenlight Gala brought together the CMC Engineering family for an unforgettable evening of celebration and appreciation. Held in honor of our dedicated employees,
the event recognized outstanding achievements and honored those who have completed 10 and 25 years of service with the company.
The night sparkled with performances from our very own talented team members — including graceful dance routines and soulful instrumental music,
showcasing the vibrant spirit within CMC Engineering.
Adding prestige to the occasion, we were honored by the presence of our Chief Guest, Mr. Nicholas Helmes, Managing Partner of C. Melchers GmbH & Co. KG, whose words of encouragement and recognition made the night even more special.

From July 25 to 27, 2025, CMC Engineering proudly participated in Hotel Show Colombo 2025 at BMICH — a leading event dedicated to the hospitality and hotel industry in Sri Lanka.
At this year’s exhibition, CMC Engineering highlighted its role as the exclusive agent of global brand EcoLab, showcasing a wide range of hotel-focused chemical solutions including kitchen hygiene,
household cleaning, and laundry care products.
In addition to chemicals, our booth featured a diverse lineup of high-performance kitchen equipment, such as dishwashers, chillers, combi ovens, and more — offering visitors a complete solution for modern hotel operations.
